2008 Bryson Family Summer Vacation

We went on a trip to Galveston this year with Kyle's twin and his family. Lori and I are great friends as well as family and the kids get a long great! Recipe for a fun weekend - I THINK SO! The kids did so well and got along fabulously despite the tight quarters on the way down & home as well as long waits at the ferry (hum...2 hours)! Thank goodness for modern technology and DISNEY! Although I can go a while without seeing Shrek again...

Gunn wanted to learn to "surf" so here is his first attempt- Surfing the GNARLY WAVES!

My nephew Hunter also wanted to try it...so here he, riding the waves!

We couldn't blink an eye and Pres was "Baywatching" it! She loved the ocean!

My nephew Hunter, Pres, and Gunn waited patiently as Mom (Aunt Anna) had to have her Starbuck's fix! This was just outside of Starbuck's in downtown Galveston.

Gunner's 5th Birthday: Hulk Swim Party!

Wow! I cannot believe he is 5. Seems like yesterday I was peeing on a stick! But time flies...our baby boy is turning into a young man and I can't slow it down! In 5 years Gunner has had 5 stitches in his forehead, a very strange egg obsession, nearly separated his ear from his head, loved Superman, has learned to do the dance that Troy does to "Beat On Me' from High School Musical 2, been caught going "potty" while playing video games, found he has a knack for art, cooking, & gymnastics, and has made his daddy proud by playing catcher as he did in t-ball (for those of you who know me, yes he tried soccer and he didn't like it...not sure he is mine- J/K). Phew...with those piercing blue eyes and that sweet smile, he is turning into a loving young boy with way too many questions.
